Communications Management
•Description: This task includes the daily, weekly, monthly scheduled and ad hoc meetings, reporting requirements and transfer of information to all team members, customer representatives and stake holders as well as outside vendors and others as required.
•Why it is important: Communication creates the bridge between team members, stakeholders, customers and others involved either internal or external to the project.
•Tools: Communications requirements analysis, communications models and methods, information distribution tools such as reports, meetings, briefings, and press releases.
•How Wright Management and Consulting Group performs this task: one-on-one discussions with stakeholders/project owners, interviews, literature reviews, subject matter expert interviews, document results and use appropriate tools to define products and review with customer to fine tune, obtain written agreement to proposed plan.
